Interview “ It is a conversation between two or more people (The interviewer and the interviewee) where q q q q q uuuu eeee ssss tttt iiii oooo nnnn ssss are asked by the interviewer to obtain information from the interviewee.” Interviews can be divided into two rough types i nterviews of assessment nterviews for information.

Interview for assessment The most common type of interview for assessment is a j j j j j oooo bbbb i i i i nnnn tttt eeee rrrr vvvv iiii eeee wwww between an eeee mmmm pppp llll oooo yyyy eeee rrrr and an applicant. The goal of such an interview is to assess a potential employee to see if he/she has the social skills and intelligence suitable for the workplace.

Interview Preparation Why do research before interview ? Why do research before interview ? You will be able to more fully demonstrate your enthusiasm for the career field and the organization. You will also be able to articulate how your skills, knowledge and values match those of the organization and industry. Before the interview Prepare answers to typical interview questions. Memorize the name of the person who will interview you. Decide what you will wear. Find out exactly where you are going, where to park and how long it will take to get there. Get a goodnight sleep. Arrive 15 minutes early.

Why has there been a number of job changes ?

If they are interested in specific personal information they will ask. Start with your degree, mention your work experience, or the key subject what you have studied and also the kind of interest you have outside the work.

What are your strengths? A. Identify at least three. You have some technical strengths as well as skills in generic areas like communication, teamwork, and problem solving.

Make it clear that non of you r weaknesses will in any way affect your ability to do the job effectively and successfully. Q. In what technical areas do you consider yourself proficient ? A. Know what you are good at. Is it sales, design, coding, data analysis, customer service, programming.

Focus on positive attributes such as positive, energetic, enthusiastic, committed and competent. Q. Tell me about a group project on which you have worked? How did you allocate responsibility ? A. This type of question is seeking details about your team skills and leadership skills. If you do not have lot of work experience use group projects from university.

A.This type of question is designed to see how you handle difficult situation and what you have learned from the experience. Outline the situation, your response and why, in retrospect, you would do things differently. Q.Why should we hire you ? A. Mention key function the jobs and discuss your skills in relation to these functions. Use experiences from previous jobs, internships and activities to support your answer.
