Character Tip #1: Fewer Characters More than two is a crowd. Tip #2: Develop Characters for Theme Do not fall in love with your character and overdo the characterization.

Setting Tip #3: Single and Short Time Frame The golden rule in selecting time frame is ‘‘keep it shorter’’ and ‘‘have it simpler’’. Tip #4: Vivid Surroundings Appeal to the reader’s five senses. Be poetic, use suitable adjectives, scripts dialogues.

Plot Tip #5: Catchy First Line Create confusion or questions in the reader’s mind. Tip #6: Suitable Point of View Who narrates it better? You? Me? Or…?

Conflict Tip #7: One Only One enemy is enough. Choose only one conflict around the central idea. Tip #8: Intense But Real No Superman please- show a few weaknesses of the hero to make your story real.

Theme Tip #9: Theme in Focus Nothing more, nothing less… Do not digress even slightly from the theme. Tip #10: Break Rules if Needed Unleash your creativity! Write for yourself.
