What is a GMO? Involves genetic engineering to produce desired traits in plants and animals The most common application of GMO crops are the make them more resistant to disease and make them last longer. Do not have to be labeled as a genetically modified crop GMOs are used in a variety of scientific and practical applications Has lead to mutated weed species
