3 rd year Business Communication Class. Working adults. No previous use of YouTube To “Equalize” online and f2f classes To support the course major project, a virtual team created analytical report (along with a slidepack or Prezi) Give students a tool that may distinguish them from others in the job search process

Gave them YouTube links on how to set up a site. No further training in how to make a YouTube has been needed. Digital native or digital immigrants Figured out how to set up the settings if they want only those with the link to see it. No complaints on privacy

Only one team member need setup a YouTube channel. The channel owner has to approve the videos to go live. Drop down menu top right of the screen with name of channel Inbox Video response Approve

Send email with following subject- Feedback on YouTube As a whole, considered together, did the first speaker introduce the topic and other speakers? Did each speaker introduce themselves? Did each speaker refer to the slide number?

“Help your classmate by giving feedback on his or her presentation. Did he or she appear knowledgeable about the subject? What did you learn about this subject that you didn’t know before? What should he or she continue doing in presentations? Consider start doing? Stop doing?”
