2. NEW ŻORY With connection to the development of the coal industry and the number of people coming to the town, Żory began to form new residential areas which initially were called „bedrooms” Today these districts have changed because the infrastrucure has become more friendly to the citizens of the town.

3. From school we walk towards the Town Hall-the residence of our town president. Next we visit the sports centre where our pupils often do sports.

4. The excavation after the old brickyard were nicely reconstructed and now it is a place willingly visited by the citizens of Żory. Everyone will find something for themselves there.

5. Crossing the Wodzisław Śląski Street, we reach the housing estate which in the past was called XXX-lecie. Today it is called Księcia Władysława. Władysław was a prince. Our hospital was located there.

6. We cross the next street and we are on Pawlikowski housing estate. The wonderful Spotrs Court and the Town Library are loated there. Both of them are willingly visited by our pupils.

7. Going towards the Sikorski housing estate we pass by the church of Saint Stanisław.

8. We cross the next street and we are on the Sikorski housing estate. The Avenue of United Europe is our destination.

9. We are coming back down the Avenue of United Europe. There are huge rocks with the basic information about the coutries of European Union.

10. Next, we go down the Avenue of John Paul II. And then again we are on Księcia Władysława housing estate. There we find the court and the monument of prince Władysław.

11. Going down the Boryńska Street we get to the headquarters of the Police.

12. We are already on Wodzisław Śląski Street. The main attraction of the street is the modern and beautiful swimming pool.

13. We pass the town market and then go towards the playground.

14. The trip is nearing the end. After crossing the street we enter the 700-lecia housing estate. As usual we finish the trip at our school.
