2. The Last Supper  The Last Supper was Jesus’ observance of Passover with his disciples.

3. The First Passover 1)Each family was to choose a lamb without blemish and bring it into their home. Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers' houses, a lamb for a household. V5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. V6 and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month. (Exodus 12:3-6)

9. Reasons For This Story on Easter 1)The Passover lambs in Egypt foretold of the future Passover Lamb at Calvary in Jerusalem.

10. Reasons For This Story on Easter 2)Only the blood of Jesus the true Passover Lamb can save us from God’s judgment on sin.

11. Reasons For This Story on Easter 3)The true Passover Lamb died but he rose again as the victorious risen Lamb of God!

12. The Risen Lamb of God Just as the lamb delivered Israel from judgment, so the Lamb of God will deliver all believers from sin and corruption! They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful. (Revelation 17:14)
