2. 2 June 6, 2011Online Group Recent Happenings  Path defined to upgrade of operating system for MLCR computers u CentOS 5.6 chosen u New sysadmin for MLCR computers – Simon Fayer (Imperial) u Setting up spare computers to mimic control room computer hardware for initial OS upgrade to prevent problems – DAQ, C & M machines u Intended upgrade in MLCR – August 2011 u Regularly scheduled upgrades in future  Online Group documentation to be revisited/updated u Charter to be written, members & roles defined (LC) u Weekly meetings have been revived  HV modules – determining when/if want to replace current systems with new for TOF, KL, EMR, CKOV, FNAL BPMs, Tracker  New Rack installation complete – see Henry’s slides
