Recent Accomplishment Oracle had announced that Manufacturing would no longer receive Premier support as of March 2018 Existing customers would be impacted since enhancements made in other areas of the system could “break” Manufacturing. Any new bugs would not be fixed by Oracle. Potentially faced with the choice of either freezing PeopleSoft at that time or moving to a new ERP. The SCM SIG worked with Quest to convince Oracle to reverse this policy. Manufacturing will now be fully supported going forward.

8. What Else Can the SCM SIG do for you? We want to have regular teleconferences – what should be the frequency? What types of content would you like to see on teleconferences? How can we increase participation in the SCM SIG? What else would you like to see from the SCM SIG? Are there particular issues that the SCM SIG needs to address?
