is the capital city of Great Britain. It is in the south-east of England on the River Thames. In about 43 AD the Romans built the first bridge over the river and that was the beginning of the city of London.

is nearly 2000 years old. It is one of the biggest cities in the world. It was destroyed in 1666 by the Great Fire, ruined during the Second World War. But today it is a financial and cultural center and it is famous for many things.
