Stress is a typical part of everyone’s life, but excess stress can trigger various physical and emotional responses such as: Gastrointestinal problems Headaches Frequent illness Fatigue Depression Panic attacksAnger Apathy

To help with Stressors in your life, you can…… Take care of your mind and body. Make sure you’re eating right and exercising. Use relaxation techniques such as Meditation or Yoga.

To help with Stressors in your life, you can…… Be at peace with your expectations Create a support group with friends and wise council

To help with Stressors in your life, you can…… Develop a plan for each day that includes time for relaxation. Nurture your spiritual self.

Optional Activity Create your own stress ball All you need is balloons, flour, and a funnel Simply fill a balloon with flour and tie it off You can even decorate the stress ball with markers and stickers if you choose

DON’T use counterproductive strategies such as: Tobacco, alcohol and/or drugs Overeating Isolation Overspending Procrastinating
