Yes, we are agreeing that only NCCs should be the focus of GNC training Members of the GNC provide information about other trainings globally At the country level, NCCs could pass on relevant training to partners and government (with GNC/RRT support if needed) GNC--Role for partnering, advocacy, networking and communication which is different than training

3. Main areas for NCC training Agreed that the following 3 areas need training and strengthening: Technical Coordination Information Management (IM) – Other clusters/OCHA can help with Coordination and IM training

4. Do you agree that the GNC should only be engaged in training NCCs on coordination and IM (not technical knowledge and skills)? We don’t agree. We don’t rule out the idea of the GNC being involved in technical training of NCCs, along with training in knowledge and skills.

5. What technical topics should be prioritised for NCC training To be determined with NCCs

6. Who should/ could deliver tech training GNC External consultants and/or training endorsed by the GNC

7. GNC’s role in making that technical training happen Can help identify gaps through communication from NCCs Remind NCCs of the resources within the country (ex. UNICEF) and to be wary of cluster mission creep – Cluster should be the technical trainer of last resort
