7 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 Through the HSAP Program, students can earn up to 8 credits at the Grade 12 level!!!

8 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 Part Two: The second credit the HSAP student receives are in the form of hours towards apprenticeship in a certified trade.

11 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM Part One-Technical Training that can be obtained at school or college. Ex. PCI offers technical training in Carpentry, Automotive and Hairstyling.

12 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 Part Two-Apprenticeship hours. These are hours earned as an employee in a certified trade.

13 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 The HSAP program allows you to begin collecting the apprenticeship hours while you are still in high school.

14 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 This makes it a perfect complement to your current technical programming.

15 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP 101 You can work towards both level one of your technical training and hours towards your apprenticeship at the same time.

18 Homework for the HSAP program includes getting a job. Family and family friends are a great place to start regarding getting connected. A parent or relative is able to apprentice you.

21 You will be able to begin collecting your apprenticeship hours now and take your technical training later.

22 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM 101 Over 50 qualifying trades. You could try Industrial Electrician, Welding, Agricultural Equipment Technician, Automotive Painter, Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanic, Carpenter, Floorcovering Installer, Plumber, Painter and Decorator, Cook, Hairstylist, or Partsperson to name but a few.

23 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP 101 The minimum that an HSAP student can earn is minimum wage plus ten percent.

24 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM Hours are very flexible in that they can be earned during or outside of the regular school day including weekends and the summer months.

25 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP 101 To register your apprenticeship you need to connect with Mr. Hordeski who will assist in completing all necessary paperwork.

26 HIGH SCHOOL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM There is a $50 fee to register your apprenticeship with Apprenticeship Manitoba.
