4 Steps of Feldman’s Method Of Art STEP 1 : DESCRIBE STEP 2 : ANALYZE STEP 3 : INTERPRET STEP 4 : JUDGE

Describe You can see different textures and colors such as blue, purple, yellow, black, pink, red, orange, and green. There is also one tree different colors of leaves. You can also tell that there is a lot of movement and rhythm in the picture as the leaves fall. If you look towards the bottom you can some intermediate colors. The leaves change color as they fall. The tree itself is very skinny and is a dark brownish color, its neither a warm or cool color.

Analyze The textures of the piece is use are used as different colors and its effective. The shapes in this picture are organic shapes and lines are kind of sharp to show the shape of the leaves. The viewer’s eye moves normally around the picture.

Interpret In this picture, I see leaves falling from a colorful tree and it is glowing in the middle of the tree. I also see both warm and cool colors on the leaves and the leaves start to fade and not have their shape towards the bottom. The most important part of the artwork is the tree itself the bark not the leaves because it contrasts so much with the bright colors of the leaves.

Judge I like about this picture that it symbolizes a lot of colors and textures and it’s a lil bit of every color and it makes the piece look outstanding. The artist did best was making the picture itself everything was brilliant. I like everything on the piece but the artist could of put more to it. If I was the artist I would put more objects in the picture so its just not the tree because it makes it kinda boring.
