Who Participates in Government? Anyone over 18 with no felony record To participate means to vote 1920-Women’s Suffrage

Who Holds Power? Citizens vote for Presidents, Senators, Governors, Mayors, etc. Legislative, Judicial, Executive Branches

How does one Participate? Participate by voting Citizens can run for public office (senators, mayors, president, governors, etc.)

How is Power Distributed? Separation of Powers-No branch of Government can become too powerful Legislative, Judicial, Executive

How are decisions made? Representatives are voted in by citizens and they make decisions for you
