A plural noun is a word that: Indicates that there is more than one person, animal, thing, or idea. When you talk about more than one of anything, you are using plural pronouns. You usually use the same word, simply adding an s, es or ies at the end.

There are several different rules for singular nouns ending in the letters f, fe or ff when changing them to the plural form. Most nouns ending in the letters f, fe or ff form the plural by adding the letter s. Surf --------- Surfs Giraffe --------- Giraffes Cliff ----------- Cliffs ffefffves Some nouns that end in f, fe or ff form the plural by changing the final f to ves fves Wolf --------- Wolves
