3. Why did we choose this project? For the international students To feel at home To develop a support network within the local community To gain an understanding about Scottish/British culture To enhance their employability with skills developed through volunteering

For the local community To get to know (personally) one or more international students from QMU To feel more positively towards the university and, in particular, the student body To see how the university’s relocation has benefited the local community To gain an understanding about world cultures
