1. The God Who Justifies ROMANS 3:21-26

2. INTRODUCTION  We should live in light of the fact that it is God of grace who justifies us:  God’s Judgment  God’s Righteousness  God’s Gift

3. I. GOD’S JUDGMENT (3.23)  God’s judgment extends to the entire human race  The ground at the cross is level ground  God’s judgment unfolds in the destructive nature of fallen life  Fallen life consists in the ongoing exchange of the glory of God for lesser, created things  Divine judgment concerns the consequences of forsaking the glory

4. II. GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS (3.21-22)  The righteousness of God is the power of God in action  The righteousness of God is God’s faithfulness to his promises

5. III. GOD’S GIFT (3.24-26)  What is the gift of God?  It is the setting of all things right  It is the faithfulness of Christ who sets things right  It is the provision to restore the glory  We receive this gift by a continuous stance of faith
