2. Karen's Willis Holmes Story Karen Willis Holmes is a renowned Australian bridal designer, widely acclaimed in the fashion marketplace for offering trend conscious women their perfect wedding gown. Originally from England, Karen moved to Australia with her family where she studied fashion design and manufacturing. Returning to London, Karen worked with companies specialising in evening and special occasion day wear before moving back to Australia to open a store designing evening wear. Karen moved to Sydney and founded the KAREN WILLIS HOLMES brand in 2000 creating couture pieces for her clients. In 2004, following the success of the couture label, Karen branched out to design the Bespoke Bridal Collection. This collection resonates with clients who require a wedding gown with hand crafted couture quality, fit and sophistication, but with the price and ease of a ready to wear wedding dress.

These wedding gowns are designed in Sydney, Australia by Karen and hand beaded in India by a team of artisans. 5. COUTURE Bridal Gowns Collection The KAREN WILLIS HOLMES Couture wedding gowns are completely made to measure, one-off designer bridal gowns. These wedding gowns take five fittings starting with a calico toile and you can have anything you would like. We start with a one and a half hour consultation to work together to design your perfect couture wedding gown. It of course depends what you do decide upon design wise to the cost, but the average price of a couture bridal gown is between $8,000 - $16,000.
