Everyday Life/Peoples View By:Karan Sandhu Net Neutrality
2
What? Net Neutrality is the idea that data is to be treated equally regardless of source or intended recipient. Not depending on who the person is that is receiving the service.
3
Why? This is important because it affects online equality. Everyone should have equal access to public websites no matter how rich they are. Keeping Net Neutrality is beneficial to consumers while removing it is beneficial to internet providers
4
Another Way This will Affect The people What if you were unemployed and the only way to find a new job in your area was to buy a job finder package from the internet provider. 10/20/14
5
When? Discussion about ending net neutrality started in 2013 Net neutrality was created back in the 1800's
6
Where? For now this just affects the United States. It can affect the rest of the world as countries start to adopt it as well. Canada and the U.S share a lot of laws in common.
7
Who? The law removal mainly affects the U.S., but if one country can do it, then others will follow. It will affect all of their citizens and any business with money. Providing companies with more money.
8
My Opinion? My opinion is that this bill should stay, as it keeps the internet free. Destroying it would make rich companies even richer.
