4. These (miracles) are written in order that you may believe that the Christ, the Son of God, is Jesus, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31 So… believe what? why? with what result? does it matter? Jesus & John thought so “[eternal] life” evidence, here & elsewhere
