4 My Project Research Question: What factors go into creating a criminal, and can they be used to detect a future one? Hypothesis: Mental disorders, childhood environment, and other general factors (aka: age, gender, race, and socioeconomic status) are all factors that go into and can create a criminal. They can be used to some extent to detect a future criminal.

5 Factors in Research Mental illness: schizophrenia and psychopathy Mental illness: schizophrenia and psychopathy Childhood environment- relationships to parents, child abuse Childhood environment- relationships to parents, child abuse Substance abuse- issues with alcohol and drugs? 6 Data Collection Method Due to my topic, I am unable to conduct a survey or do a scientific experiment. Didn’t have enough people to interview So I used “Meta-Analysis” as my data collection method using 4 different academic journals: “Alcohol and Crime” “Understanding the Cycle Childhood Maltreatment and Future Crime” “Social Anatomy of Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Violence” “Violence and Schizophrenia: Examining the Evidence”
