4. + Therapeutic Drugs Have a medical purpose Often prescribed or recommended by a doctor/team physician Used to treat disease, an infection, or a disorder such as diabetes, and is used to relieve pain or swelling

5. + NSAIDS Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory Drugs Reduce the amount of tissue swelling after an injury. Includes aspirin and ibuprofen which are OTC drugs (over-the-counter) OTC drugs can be legally purchased without a prescription

6. + Aspirin Aspirin can be used to reduce pain Blood thinner and can cause more swelling initially to an area Anemic athletes should avoid aspirin because of its blood-thinning ability
