OSLC Mobile User Group Charter

Required Charter Elements User Group name – Mobile Purpose and scope of User Group – To determine whether new Work Groups need to be formed and which existing Work Group specifications need to be updated to address mobile-specific needs Provide liaisons and example scenarios / use cases / user stories to said Work Groups – Understand where OSLC activity may/should interact with other specifications and governing bodies Founding members (3 organizations minimum) – IBM (Charles Rankin, Leigh Williamson) – PointSource (Stephanie Trunzo, John Cammarata, Andy Ivory) – ClearBlade (Eric Simone, Aaron Allsbrook)

Required Charter Elements Initial Leader – Charles Rankin (IBM) Liaison relationships (e.g., EU Projects) – TBD Clear statement that the User Group will not generate any patentable materials – The Mobile User Group will not generate any patentable materials

Optional Charter Elements Examples of potential user stories / use cases / scenarios – Consider a development pipeline of mobile services, e.g. (for a more complete list, see the backup material) Mobile app build service Mobile app function testing service Mobile device remote access service Mobile app crash reporting service Mobile “in-app” user feedback service Mobile app sentiment analysis service Mobile private app store service – This User Group would help define which new OSLC Work Groups should be established to define interfaces for these services, and/or which existing Work Groups need to expand their current definitions to include mobile specific content/scenarios
