3 REVERSE PORTAL

4 Brokers and MGAs who continue to receive emailed submissions can effectively drive those agents to their portal to answer additional questions and complete the submission process. Data entry time is reduced for agents, and markets that have a portal, will see greater use and value

5 Broker/MGA Step 1: Broker Uplinks emailed submission

6 Data uploads to your Appulate Portal

7 Broker/MGA Step 2: Select markets that you want to continue on to, questionnaire grows with additional questions and from market

8 Broker/MGA Step 3: Then send to agent

9 Agent Step 1: The agent receives an email with a link that takes them directly into your portal, without the need to log in.

10 Agent Step 2: Navigate section by section by clicking on the “Next Section” link at the bottom right. They answer missing and required questions as they work through it.

11 Agent Step 3: Click on “Save” to come back to it later or click on “Complete” when done

12 Broker/ MGA Step 4: Once completed, you will receive an email with a shortcut link that takes you right to the Questionnaire section in Appulate for that insured, to review the updated data.

13 All changes can be thoroughly identified and tracked in the Activity Log.

14 Broker Benefit:  Broker receives all the information that they needs to quote, without having to rekey data REVERSE PORTAL Recap: Agent Benefit:  Submission workflow doesn’t have to change- Agent can continue submitting via email and can answer additional questions without having to enter the portal

16 In Appulate, you can choose to make the carriers that you do business with, visible to your agents, as your submarkets. Meaning that when they select you as a market, directly below you, is a list of all of your carriers. Each submarket has an option to be selected or unselected: Selecting the submarket- will bring forth any questions that need to be answered in order to quote with that market. Unselecting markets- will eliminate questions from that market in the questionnaire.

17 Reasons why your agents may want to unselect a submarket: 1.They have a direct appointment with one of your submarkets 2.They know that your submarket will decline Forced to show a very large set of questions Go back-and-forth with your agent to gather additional info If you don’t make your submarkets visible:

21 Now: Appulate has reporting functionality designed to give you visibility into premium size and number for Outbound Submissions, Inbound Submissions, Bound Policies and Work Comp Class Codes. The report can be broken down by year and even further, by quarter or even month. All reports can be exported into Excel.
