Yesterday I was, Today I am: I worked as a Teacher for four years, both in the private and public sectors in Puerto Rico. I taught from 3 rd grade – 10 th grade. For two years I have been working as an Early Head Start Home Visitor in the state of Massachusetts. My current specialization in the MAED degree is in Early Childhood, which I am hoping to finish and obtain this year. 5/26/2015INTRODUCTION ECE 6014

My goals for this course are: 5/26/2015INTRODUCTION ECE 6015 Obtain the necessary skills to enhance my professional career in the field that I am working for at the moment. Learn the best practices to help the children get an Early Head Start. Be able to understand what ECE is all about. Learn to be a good leader as a teacher, colleague and supervisor.

My experience with EHS Working for EHS has showed me: –There is nothing impossible. –There is a difference between helping and advocating. –Everybody (teachers, moms, dads, …)has the ability to work with babies and toddlers. –The best tools are already in the package you are handling. 5/26/2015INTRODUCTION ECE 6016
