7. DCON Key Club District Convention is April 21-24 Cost is $300 Please see Mrs. Weir if you plan to attend All fees are due by February 19 th

8. Officer Elections Tuesday, February 16 th If you are interested in running for officer, please pick up an application! You are not required to have a speech ready. The officers will ask you 5 questions when you are running.

9. President Responsible for setting and monitoring the goals of the club; running meetings and creating the powerpoint for meetings; maintaining regular communication with the lieutenant governor, kiwanis club, and advisor; and being the mediator between club advisor and members.

10. Vice President Responsible for filling in when the president is unavailable, and being of help to all officers and members.

11. Secretary Responsible for taking notes at the meetings, sending in a monthly report, maintaining important files, and having knowledge of meeting attendance and service event dates.

12. Treasurer Responsible for collection of dues and donation money, and maintaining a close relationship with the advisor.

13. President of Service Responsible for collection and inputting of service points, and providing new ideas for service events.

14. Social VP Responsible for coordinating socials, creating icebreakers for the meetings, and making sure all members feel included.

15. Editor Responsible for sending in articles to the district editor and keeping track of all the service events.

16. Publicist Responsible for updating the display case, creating posters for events, updating the twitter account, and advertising all events.

17. Historian Responsible for taking pictures at the service events, keeping track of the events, and creating the end of the year scrapbook.

18. Key Club Scrapbook If you have any pictures from service events, please send them to Sarah Simon’s email! saranic@yahoo.com We will be starting our 2015-16 scrapbook, and can use as many pictures as possible!saranic@yahoo.com

19. Volunteering Commitment If you sign up for something, YOU are obligated to fulfill that commitment. If something last minute comes up, please try to un- sign up for that event. If it is a Key Club service project, please let the head of that project know. DO NOT sign up for an event that you are unsure about attending. Service opportunities rely on the volunteers to make everything successful!

20. Points You are required to do 12 points this semester! If you did not complete your 12 points from last semester, then you will be expected to do 5 extra points! Please turn in points to Joceline as you go! DO NOT wait until the last minute to give her all of your points!
