2 Mr. Dave Tindoll/210-466-1507/davis.d.Tindoll.civ@mail.mil1 March 2016 Intergovernmental Support Agreements Authorized per 10 USC § 2679 –Definition: Legal instrument reflecting a relationship between the Secretary concerned and a State/Local government that contains such terms & conditions as the Secretary concerned considers appropriate for the purposes of this section & necessary to protect U.S. interests. –Encompass “installation-support services”: Services, supplies, resources and support typically provided by a government for its own needs –Agreements may be executed outside of traditional procurement rules Cost benefit analysis is a critical component of any proposal Transaction must represent a sound business decision

Bragg/Fayetteville – ASOM custodial services Ft. Bragg/Cumberland County – stray animal control Ft. Leonard Wood/Waynesville – stray animal control POM/PMSA – baseops
