E.Guschin (INR,Moscow) 20 January 2006PS/SPD meeting CERN PS/SPD LED monitoring system status In December 2005: –All splitters and drivers are delivered to CERN –Working place (including tables, and SM bandage) was prepared –PMT setup calibration –Mechanical design of fixation and layout of splitters and drivers boards was checked with real SM –Monitoring boards were installed on PS Inner (cryo) SM Now: –3 outer SMs are also equipped with boards –The first tuning of LED signals is done on SPD outer SM (preliminary is OK!) – Is being tested now and soon: Electrical layout (electrical screening of cables, grounding) Final tuning for various LED (we have tree types) Mechanical layout of cables for inner part
