A. “A Dog for Rock”: Mauro Senesi’s story “A Dog for Rock” features a character whose actions alone may label him as evil or immoral. In a well-organized essay, explain how the full presentation of this character causes the reader to react more sympathetically than would otherwise be expected. Avoid plot summary. B. “A & P”: Explain how the narrator of “A & P” reveals his own values, virtues, and vices—as well as those of the other characters.
