17. The VISTA value: Love Your Block Grant Through Cities of Service, Lansing received two full time AmeriCorps VISTAs/year for 3 years. This is an annual value of 4160 hours of skilled volunteer service, which is valued at $23/hour or a total annual monetary value of $95,680 of human capital to the City of Lansing.
