2 2 Corrective Actions Tool Overview The Corrective Actions Tool is designed to: –Promote Ownership –Improve partnership and supplier collaboration –Increase efficiencies Suppliers will receive emails when a Corrective Action has been issued Suppliers must register for the Corrective Action tool on the Supplier Portal Suppliers must respond with a Containment Response and a Complete Corrective Action Response Corrective Actions data is refreshed in real time with Rockwell Collins internal system

3 3 1. Navigate to http://www.supplycollins.com 2. Click Get Registered 3. Enter your email address 4. Select Corrective Actions 5. Begin Registration Getting Registered for Corrective Actions

4 4 6. Fill out the form to apply for access to Corrective Actions Registration Continued…

5 5 Click the Corrective Actions Community Link Click View/Manage Corrective Actions Using Corrective Actions

6 6 Searching for a Corrective Action If you have multiple Vendor Codes, make sure you have the correct Vendor Code Selected You can search by a Corrective Action number or a Rockwell Collins Part Number, PO#, Insp. Lot # or Date Range Once you have all your criteria selected, Click Display

8 8 Select the Corrective Action (CA) you would like to respond to or review By clicking on the CA Number If the CA “Status” is locked or closed you will only be able to review the CA If the CA is open you will be able to respond Using Corrective Actions

9 9 Responding to a SCAR (Supply Chain Corrective Action) Information about the SCAR will be listed in the text areas Make sure to read “Requirements for SCAR Response” Corrective Action Initial Response –Not required for On Time Delivery (OTD) SCARS –Must be completed for Quality SCAR’s in 3 days Corrective Action Complete Response –If the Initial Response had previously been completed the “Containment Statement Response” will be grayed out and auto populated –Must be completed in 10 days

10 10 Supplier – Supplier Name Vendor Code – Supplier SAP Vendor Code CA Number – Corrective Action Number Quality Manager – Supplier Quality Manager President – Supplier President Other Contact Email – Other Contact Supplier has asked Rockwell Collins to include Dates Issued – Date SCAR was issued Containment Statement Due Date – When the Containment Statement is Due Complete SCAR Due Date – When Complete SCAR is Due Response Date – After completed the system will show the date you responded to the SCAR Part Number – Rockwell Collins Part number (OTD – On Time Delivery SCAR) Requirement Violated – Specific spec, contract or performance requirement that was not met Observation – Condition measured or found Using Corrective Actions This information is pre-populated for viewing

11 11 The following information is pre-populated for viewing PO Number – Purchase Order number associated with Corrective Action Material Disposition – How parts were processed by Rockwell Collins Tracking Number – RMA number Other – Misc Rockwell Collins comment to Supplier Rockwell Collins Point of Contact – Person at Rockwell Collins who is responsible for the CA Phone Number – Point of Contact’s Phone Number Click here to submit containment responses ONLY Click here to submit a complete Response Using Corrective Actions

12 12 Supplier Information Answer all questions to complete Containment Response This is where the Supplier Communicates with Rockwell Collins including: -Issues -Feedback -Asking for extensions -Other relevant information This is a read-only field containing the log of communication between Rockwell Collins and the Supplier Click here to Submit Response Containment Response (3 days)

15 15 Save and Submit Changes – Clicking This button will Submit this Response to Rockwell Collins. Once you have submitted the Response it cannot be edited. Save Changes – Clicking this button will Save your response as a draft but will not submit the response. Back – Clears all fields and returns to the Corrective Action Screen Corrective Action Response cont’d… This is where the Supplier Communicates with Rockwell Collins including: -Issues -Feedback -Asking for extensions -Other relevant information Please include your name and date This is a read-only field containing the log of communication between Rockwell Collins and the Supplier Part III
