Some bridges are made out of stone. This stone bridge crosses a pond. This is a famous suspension bridge in Australia. This is a suspension bridge.

TASC To build a free standing bridge using only paper and paper clips which will hold a 50g weight. Also be able to carry a moving car.

Rules Each group is given a budget of £100, which they can use to build the bridge. Paper costs £10 per A4 sheet and paper clips cost £3 each! You should therefore think about what materials you will need before you buy them. (No Refunds can be given!). You have a £100 limit on material. You need to complete the budget sheet.
