Winona Senior High School Lunch room
2
TRAYS! When our lunch is served to us the food comes on either a yellow, blue or red plastic tray. The tray is separated into five parts, so your food doesn’t mix together. Our school serves around 900 lunches on these reusable trays everyday.
3
Lunch Lines We have 4 lunch lines. -1 salad bar -1 hamburger/hot dog line -2 lines that change regularly. Lunch ladies serve our lunch to us, to make sure we don’t take too much. A school lunch costs $2.25. Lunches are purchased by entering a 5 digit pin number. Lines get very long at our school, so when class is released everyone runs to get a good spot in line. Students get upset when their classmates budge in line during lunch. Everyone has to wait their turn! Salad bar

Lunch Room At Winona senior high school we use our commons area as our lunch room. We have around 50 tables that seat around 6-10 people each. During the summer we are allowed to eat outside. We are expected to keep our lunch room clean and pick up after ourselves.

-Snack Bar- “The bird feeder!” If you do not want a school lunch, you are welcome to purchase a lunch at the snack bar. Sandwiches, individually wrapped burgers and burritos, chips, cookies and a variety of bottled drinks. Prices range from 45 cents to 3 dollars.
7
Condiments and Utensils At our school we use ketchup, mustard, mayo, onions and pickles on our food. For utensils we use metal forks and spoons. Sometimes when students decide to throw their metal utensils in the trash we have to use plastic spoons and forks as a punishment.
8
Milk We have 3 different kinds of milk at Winona senior high school: skim, 1% and chocolate. Chocolate is the most popular type of milk! We are only allowed to have one carton of milk per lunch. Many times students spill their milk all over themselves!
