2 Northern Peninsulas Large Scandinavian peninsula. Fjords, which are separated by narrow peninsulas. Jutland Peninsula that forms the largest part of Denmark and a small part of Germany.

3 Southern Peninsulas Iberian Peninsula, Spain and Portugal. Italian Peninsula, Italy. Balkan Peninsula, bordered by the Adriatic, Mediterranean, and Aegean seas.

4 Islands Larger-Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, and Greenland. Smaller- Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, and Crete.

5 Mountain Chains Alps, Apennines, and the Balkans.

6 Uplands Kjolen Mountains, Scottish highlands, and the Meseta, central uplands of Germany

7 Rivers and Fertile Plains Danube, Rhine, Rhone, Po and many other Rivers. Northern European Plain.

8 Resource’s and European Economy Cause- Abundant supplies of coal and iron ore. Effect- Industrialized Economy.

9 Resource’s and European Economy Cause- High percentage of land that can be used for agriculture. Effect- Various crops can be grown across Europe.

10 Resource’s and Europeans Economy Cause- Ireland lacks energy resources. Effect- Peat (Partially decayed Plant matter) can be burned for fuel.
