Test = 3 hours 15 mins total Section I: – Part A: Multiple choice 55 questions, 55 mins 40% of exam score – Part B: Short Answer 4 questions, 50(?) mins 20% of exam score Section II: Free Response – Reading period – 15(?) minutes – Part A: DBQ 45 minutes 25% of exam score – Part B – Essay choice provided 35 minutes 15% of exam score

Multiple-choice section: In order to get a grade of 3 or above - need ~ 60% correct + adequate essays GUESS if you don’t know!

Short answer Questions 4 questions – Each question has THREE parts – 3 parts max 3 points Make sure you are answering the ENTIRE question – Read the question more than once WRITE COMPLETE SENTENCES

Do not forget when writing essays… Intro – Include background info (& dates!) – Must include thesis! Answers questions (fully), makes an argument Topic sentences!
