3.  The wheel is located in Falkirk, Scotland.  It is a rotating boat lift that moves boats from the Forth and Clyde Canal to the Union Canal or vise versa.  Things that make the wheel interesting.  Uses Archimedes’ principle (“floating objects displace their own weight in water”) to balance each hole in the arms.  Only uses as much energy to rotate as boiling eight kettles of water.

5.  There are a total of 6 parts built.  The base.  The two “arms with holes”. (Identical)  The Front holder.  The Cylinder.  The Bottom.
