MISSION AND VISION The Sam Noble Museum at The University of Oklahoma inspires minds to understand the world through collection- based research, interpretation, and education. As one of the finest museums, we are at the heart of our community, collectively working to inspire understanding, appreciation, and stewardship of the earth and its peoples.

HIGHLIGHTS The museum features: four billion years of Oklahoma history the world's largest Apatosaurus realistic nature dioramas such as a walk-through limestone cave, Native American artifacts, and vast collections of biological specimens from across Oklahoma special exhibitions and family programs

HALL OF ANCIENT LIFE Exhibits showcase: gigantic prehistoric bugs skeletons of massive aquatic creatures that once inhabited the seas that covered Oklahoma record-setting mounted dinosaurs. *The museum's Pentaceratops skull holds the Guinness World Record as the largest

HALL OF ANCIENT LIFE "Clash of the Titans“: two Jurassic giants are locked in a life or death struggle The world's largest Apatosaurus (excavated in the Oklahoma panhandle) a Saurophaganax Maximus that once roamed the Oklahoma plains. Other exhibits include: a saber-tooth cat, mammoths, and distant relatives of bears and ostriches

GALLERIES Paleozoic Gallery exemplifies how our planet was formed and the creatures that ruled the world spanning from roughly 541 to 252 million years ago. Hall of Natural Wonders: Series of landscapes from a hickory forest to an arid desert to a limestone cave to a grassy prairie

GALLERIES Hall of the People of Oklahoma traces the 30,000 year history of the native people of the state Gallery of World Cultures: Cultures represented range from ancient Greece and Rome to Oceania, Tibet, Japan and West Africa. Also, Mayans

ADMISSION INFORMATION AND SERVICES $5 adults $4 seniors (age 65 and up) $3 children (ages 6-17) Free to children 5 and younger Free to OU students $1 discount per ticket for U.S. military personnel and their families Strollers and wheelchairs are available for loan from the museum information desk at no cost.
