4 Enter Your Personal Information and Project Coding 1)Check for the Correct Pay Period 2)Select the Type of Time to Be Entered: Charging to a Project 3)Enter the Project Coding: PIN, Job/Proj (FINET Program #,) and Activity Code 4)Only Project Development in the Complex uses Decision Units 4 1 2 3

5 Enter Overhead Coding 1)Select the Type of Time to Be Entered: Overhead 2)There are no PINs in Overhead Charges 3)Enter the Job/Proj (FINET Program #, only if required) and Activity Code 4)Only Project Development in the Complex uses Decision Units 4 1 3

6 Enter Leave Coding 1)Enter the Leave Code. 2)To search for the Leave Code, click the search button. A list appears. 3)Double-click a code to use it.

7 To Re-Use Coding Information: 1)Click the Pay Period Summary Tab. 2)Look at the Previous Pay Period Coding 3)Double-click the PIN field to transfer that coding to the Daily Tab and use it again. 1 2 3

8 Enter Regular Time and Overtime 12 1.Enter Regular Hours in the larger box to the left (limit 40/week for Nonexempt, 80/pay period for Exempt employees) 2.Overtime Hours go in the smaller box to the right 3.Press TAB or ENTER to move from one day to the next 4.Hours are totaled in the Total fields at the right 4 3

9 The Daily Summary 1 Click a Date (1) to see the that day’s charges in the Daily Summary area (2) Double-click a PIN field (3) to update the charges for that coding To delete a record, click the PIN field (3) to select it, then click DELETE (4) 2 4 3

10 The Pay Period Summary Tab 1)Click the Pay Period Summary tab to see all your entries for the current pay period 2)Double-click a record to take it back to the Daily Tab for updating 1 2

11 Overtime Justification 1)To enter a comment on your timesheet, select the Overtime Justification tab 2)Enter your comment in the field. 3)Click SAVE to keep the comment or CLEAR COMMENTS to remove it.

12 Printing or Clearing the Timesheet 1)To delete all the employee’s entries for the pay period, click Clear Employee’s Time for PP. NOTE: There’s no UNDO! 2)Unless advised otherwise, printing is not necessary. Your supervisor will approve your timesheet in SAP. 3)If you need to print your timesheet, click Print Timesheet 4)To print for everyone in your unit, click Print Empl. In Org (only if you have security to do that) 1 2 3

13 ePM Creates Timesheet as a.PDF File Only When “Print Timesheet” is clicked on Screen 200. Overtime hours are shown in red. Printing is usually not necessary. But if it is: You sign it, your supervisor signs it, it gets turned in to your Payroll person.

14 Screen 202: Equipment Entry Click the Equipment button to enter Screen 202. If you need the button but don’t have it, contact ePM Support.

15 Screen 202: Equipment Entry 1)The current month and year are displayed. Click the down arrows to change them. 2)If you select a date in the past, you can view records but not update them. 3)The current user’s name and org are displayed. Click the magnifying glass to change them. 1 3

16 Enter the Equipment Coding The Equipment Org is the group that owns the equipment. Enter the Org number and press Enter. ePM displays a list of equipment for that org. Click on an item and click OK or double-click the item.

17 1 Enter the Project Coding 1) Enter the Job/Proj. ePM will enter the PIN for you. 2) Enter the PIN first, click to search for Job/Proj. ePM only displays the Job/Proj numbers for that PIN. 3) You must enter the 7 or 8 with the Activity Code. 4) Enter the date of the equipment usage 21 3 4

18 Enter the Usage Amounts Each piece of equipment has a unit of measure Measures are Days or Miles The correct field opens Enter the Beginning and Ending Mileage ePM calculates the total for you Or enter the total mileage only

19 Click the Tabs to View Usage Records The Equipment Usage Tab shows all records for a piece of equipment The Billing Org Display tab shows all records for the Billing Org 1 2

20 Finish Your Entries The Reset button clears the PIN, Job/Proj, and Activity Codes Click SAVE to keep an entry Click DELETE to delete an entry

21 Click Print to see the Report
