Did you know…? Water is the only substance that can be found as a solid, a liquid, and a gas at normal surface temperatures on Earth.

Non-Newtonian Fluids Newton described how ‘normal’ liquids or fluids behave, and he observed that they have a constant viscosity (flow). This means that their flow behavior or viscosity only changes with changes in temperature or pressure. For example, water freezes and turns into a solid at 0˚C and turns into a gas at 100˚C. Within this temperature range, water behaves like a ‘normal’ liquid with constant viscosity. A Non-Newtonian fluid is one that changes in flow rate depending on the amount of stress or length of time that stress is applied.

Closure Is air a solid, liquid, or gas? Why?
7
Conclusion Answer Air a mixture because it consists of two or more substances that are not chemically bound to each other and can be separated.
