3. The Coasts
California’s Coastal Region Streches More Than 800 Miles Along The Pacific Ocean Low Coast Ranges, Follow Much Of The Coastline. In Northern California, The Mountains Drop Sharply Into The Pacific Ocean Forming Steep Cliffs. Along California Southern Coast, The Mountains Give A Way To A Coastal Plain.

4. Mountains
Mountains Cover More Than One Half Of California. The State’s Largest Mountain Range Is The Sierra Nevada That Means Snowy Mountains. It Stretches North And South Much Of The Eastern Part Of The State. Unlike The Coast Ranges, More Than 100 Peaks In Sierra Nevada Rise Higher Than 1,300 Feet And The Tallest Mountain Is Mt Whitney Is 14,495 Feet Tall! Some Mountain's Snow Can Melt And Have The Water Go Down To The Central Valley.

5. The Desert Region
The Desert Region Is A Region Where There Is Almost No Rain. Deserts Aren't Always Hot, The World Can Have Cold And Normal Climate As In Califoria Chino And Chino Hills. There Is A National Park Called Death Valley That Is Also A Desert But Very Hot And Dry. Animals That Live In Deserts Have To Adapt To The Heat By Burrowing Underground Or Going Under Shade, Plants That Live In The Desert Don't Need Much Water Than Other Plants.
