17 +-+- Differential Receiver Balanced Pair The Differential Receiver determines the potential between the Two cables. If any interference is present on either of the Cables, it will be coupled onto the other. The receiver will then be able to determine the potential between the cables & give a smooth correct output. Why twisted / balanced pair cable MUST be used ?

18 +-+- Differential Receiver NOT Balanced Pair If Twisted/Balanced pair cable is NOT being used, any interference that is present on either of the cables will NOT be coupled onto the other. The receiver will then be UNABLE to Determine the potential between the two cables and will give a poor output. Why twisted / balanced pair cable MUST be used ?
