2. An Amtrak train derailed and tipped over in Philadelphia -- killing at least five. Another 136 were taken to various hospitals, including six in critical condition. The Amtrak Northeast Regional Train 188 was traveling from Washington to New York when it derailed in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The impact tore cars apart and left the engine a mangled mess. the train was carrying 238 passengers and 5 crew members. The cause wasn't immediately known. "We do not know what happened here. We do not know why it happened," Mayor Michael Nutter said.

In Other News Gunmen on motorbikes attacked a bus carrying members of a religious minority in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi on Wednesday, killing at least 42 people and wounding 20 or so others. Six attackers used 9mm pistols to shoot at the people on the bus. According to reports from South Korea, North Korea has publicly executed the country's defense minister after the regime accused him of treason. Hyon Yong Chol was killed with an anti-aircraft gun at a military school in front of hundreds of people in Pyongyang. Hyon was apparently executed because he expressed discontent towards leader Kim Jong Un, and failed to follow Kim's orders on several occasions. On Tuesday, the grassroots organization Women on 20s released the results of its 10-week-long online survey to determine the woman who—it hopes—will be the new face on the $20 bill. Over 600,000 votes were tallied, and a victor declared: Harriet Tubman. The Women on 20s campaign is also launching a new online initiative to push President Barack Obama to act, asking social media users to use hashtag #DearMrPresident.
