ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON A TRAGIC HERO ▪ Anagnorisis - The moment when the hero makes an important discovery in the story ▪ Nemesis - A fortune or fate that the hero cannot avoid, usually due to the retribution of his hubris ▪ Hubris - A common flaw among tragic heroes that leads them to disregard divine warnings or violate laws
