My list:

Zombie Love I choose David P. Murphy’s third book in his Zombies for Zombies series with film rights for an October 2011 book release. Repackage/reissue the other two books in the series to coincide with the release.

Zombie Love Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #1,101,527 in Books, but it just came out in October 2010

Zombie Love Amazon Bestsellers Rank: #2,925 in Books #10 in Books > Literature & Fiction > Essays #12 in Books > Entertainment > Humor > Love, Sex & Marriage #17 in Books > Entertainment > Humor > Parodies Released in October 2009

Zombie Love MY TASTE Zombies are HOT on my Netflix. Halloween is my favorite holiday. Zombies spark images of brain-eating freaks who want you for dinner... I love it! Fresh zombie content SELLs and is ENTERTAINING.

Zombie Love Humor/parody books are popular with readers. I love the “for Dummies” series, and so do other readers with more than 200 million copies in print according to Wiley’s website. After I finish Lost, I’ll be watching AMC’s The Walking Dead, whose premiere attracted 5.3 million viewers, according to Entertainment Weekly, and whose graphic novels are #1 on The New York Times Best Seller list for graphic novels.

Zombie Love According to The Paramus Post, more than 1 million copies have been sold, with an initial print run of 18,000. Published in 2003

Zombie Love According to Publishers Weekly, World War Z has sold 600,000 copies in all formats. Published in 2006

Zombie Love The movie will draw attention to the series and make a large impact on book sales. Audiences (myself included) LOVE zombie films i.e. George A. Romero (Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead) and will flock.

Zombie Love Gross worldwide revenue $30,000,000 Source: IMDB Released in 1968

Zombie Love Gross revenue$82,719,885 Source: Box Office Mojo Released in 2003

FINANCIAL FIASCO 22-year-old Zach Bissonnette, senior at UMass Amherst

FINANCIAL FIASCO Everyone’s life circumstances are different. I had grants in college. Don’t write a book about something I would benefit from researching from on the Internet, which has a variety of sources... so why wouldn’t potential buyers do the same? The self-help genre is over-published and has to compete with the Internet.

FINANCIAL FIASCO My nonfiction needs to have experts who have voices of authority leading the content for credibility purposes.

FINANCIAL FIASCO Financial consultant Financial aid advisor Attorney Certified professional Successful entrepreneur Public figure

FINANCIAL FIASCO If I am really stuck...

SUMMARY I want authors that will give me a solid backlist with original ideas and material with a new angle, so I have a lot of successful reissues for my company and my reputation. If I’m going to Google to find the information, I don’t want to publish that book on my list because it won’t sell.
