4 General Plan Improvement Process Update Task 1 – Evaluation of Existing Constraints Identify & evaluate DPR procedures (est completion May 2014) Develop Draft Unit Assessment Matrix/Evaluate Park Unit’s GP Need (est completion May 2014) Research Public Resources Code for language modification opportunities (mid-May 2014) Analyze recent GPs/planning documents to assess strengths & weaknesses (end of May 2014) Research CEQA processes for streamlining opportunities (early June 2014) Evaluate external regulatory agency constraints (late July 2014) Collaborate with Parks Forward research staff (Continuous) Task 2 Implementation of General Plan Process Evaluation

5 Public Safety Technology Modernization (PSTM)  Project to deliver new Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) System completed System Functionality Test Phase Communication Operators executed and evaluated over 700 scripts in new CAD system Completed in less than two days and effort scheduled for two weeks  “Go-Live” dates Northern Communications Center – April 14 th Southern Communications Center – June 10 th

6 Collaboration with Parks Forward  Working with PF Commission to provide enhanced camping cabins to expand access to underserved communities and change dynamics of camping experience  Working with Google Trekker to take panoramic images of trails giving visitors an opportunity to explore natural and cultural wonders through internet before visiting a State Park  Working with PF Commission consultant, FTI, to understand what it should cost to operate the State Park system given various operating and staffing models
