Task 2.3 Description Objective – To introduce taxonomists and application developers to different e-taxonomy tools. – To see where e-taxonomy projects have succeeded. – To identify their limitations that are restricting uptake. – To identify where knowledge gaps exist.

Task 2.3 Workshop To be achieved during the workshop. – Demonstrate tools such as Scratchpads, Edit Taxonomic Editor, Xper2 etc. – Discuss usage cases of the different tools. – Brainstorm technology gaps
