4 Resume Standards Organization - Create bullets, bold certain items, make it readable Concise (short), but informational No grammatical errors: Proof-read or edit at least 3 times Relevant: Tailor resume to fit job description Appealing: Balanced and attractive Two Page maximum Put yourself in the shoes of the employer

11 Job Duties/Responsibilities Create “one-liners” using action verb to list job duties One-liners= Action verb + Skill Action verb examples: Install, Created, Supported, Developed, performed, prepared, organize, repaired, etc One- liner Example: Installed conduit according to NEC code - Performed lawn care duties, including grass cutting, edging, and trimming
