What is a Verb? A word or group of words that expresses action or doing.

Action Verbs Is a word that shows action. Action verbs tell what someone or something is doing.

You can identify the action verb in a sentence by asking, “What is the person or thing in the sentence doing?” Example: Chad jumps rope. Who is this sentence about? What is the action they do?
