Welcome to Pediatrics Regional Children's Health Centre for Pediatrics with an Advanced Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Brampton Civic Hospital Level II Special Care Nursery at Etobicoke General Hospital. More pediatric ER visits than any community hospital in Ontario

So what makes our teaching centre unique?

Community Practice Based All Residents are out in comprehensive community practices in Brampton, Etobicoke, Georgetown and Woodbridge Residents build a mini practice that they carry for two years Supervision of Residents is done by experienced and supportive community based Family Physicians.

Obstetrics is Part of Comprehensive Care One of our core strengths is our Obstetrics program, great for those who want the hands on skills to do OB in their careers, or for those who just want a great experience. Residents work with Family Physicians who include Obstetrics in their practice as part of an On Call Rota System. Genecology and Early Pregnancy loss clinics.

Residents are never bored They have the opportunity to see lots of patients with different acuity levels, ages and cultures There is a genuine interest in teaching by all of the Support Staff, Specialists, Family Physicians and our Allied Health Professionals This Teaching Centre is Involved, Enthusiastic and BUSY

The Teaching Center Office is Hospital Based The Teaching Centre office is situated in the middle of a new, state-of-the-art hospital providing Residents with close access to specialists, allied health professionals, medical technology, our medical librarian and the educational support team.
