What is ear? (Summarized meaning) Caring your ear (Ear Care) Monitoring noise levels. Deafness Avoiding hearing damage
3
The ears convert sounds into nerve impulses that your brain interprets. In addition, structures in the ear detect the position and movement of your head. Ears, by sensing movement and position, your ears help you to stand upright, walk smoothly, and adjust your body’s position.
4
Proper ear care is fairly simple Besides keeping your ears clean, you also need to monitor noise levels. You should always check the doctor if you feel any pain in your ear or hearing difficulties.
5
Use a wet washcloth to clean your outer ear and the front part of your ear canal. Dry your ears thoroughly after you wash them. Never insert a cotton-tipped swab or any other object into your ear canal, because they may damage your ear drums. Also swabs compresses ear waxes, and if it gets compressed it will not drain normally.
6
Partial hearing loss or deafness can be resulted from the damage of vibration-sensing cells in cochlea. The longer your ears are exposed on loud noise it will cause hearing damage. Exposure to 80decibels for a long time will damage your hearing, and 120decibels for a few second can damage hearing.
7
Normally deafness will generally be permanent. It’s a damage of hearing, where you won’t be able to hear any sounds or noise. It occurs in many different ways like exposure to loud music, noise, and sounds. Or it can also be genetic syndrome.
8
Keep your TV and stereo low enough that you can comfortably hear a person speaking at a normal level. When hearing with earbuds or headphones, always make it 60% or under.
